Every day, fantastic and sometimes unrealistic stories happen in the world. For example, the other day, off the coast of Chilean Patagonia, a large humpback whale grabbed a man in its mouth for a few seconds and then spat him out. If it weren't for the video his father shot, this story would be hard to believe.

This terrifying and somewhat fantastic event happened to tourist Adrian Simancas and his father, who were kayaking in the bay of Bahia El Aguila near the San Isidro lighthouse. Suddenly, a huge humpback whale emerged from the water and grabbed Adrian with its mouth along with the yellow kayak for a few seconds. This moment was captured on camera by the victim's father.
"I thought I was dead. I thought it ate me, that it swallowed me," Adrian comments on the situation.
After the animal "released" the boy from its mouth, the victim managed to get to his father's kayak and they returned to shore unharmed.
“When I started to swim, I was scared that something might happen to my father too, that we wouldn’t make it to shore in time or that I would get hypothermia,” Adrian shares his emotions.
