An incredible gift that adult children gave their parents for their 50th wedding anniversary has gone viral online. Tawnia Van Houten, a fashion designer from California (USA), got together with her brother and sisters to recreate an iconic photo shoot from the early 90s, and then present the photo to their parents, Rick and Debbie, for the holiday.
"The original photo was taken 34 years ago, and it shows me with my brother Jason and my sisters, Joryn, Tawny, and Kimberly, at ages 5, 9, 14, and 16 (now 49, 47, 42, and 37, respectively). Everyone was dressed in 80s fashion," Van Houten told Newsweek magazine.
The woman adds that they all worked very fruitfully together on sewing adult versions of their children's outfits.

In the shot, Tawnia's mother unfolds the paper to take out a photo frame and instantly bursts into laughter, while Rick couldn't immediately orient himself to what he was seeing, but then he also starts laughing.
"We added lacquered bangs, big bows, and even painted over one of my sister's teeth to highlight her iconic gap at the time. When my dad saw the photo, he was shocked," adds Van Houten.
