“Napoleon” is one of the most popular cakes. Usually people buy it because it is quite difficult to prepare this dessert. Moreover, even experienced cooks often have some incidents. What to say about beginners, for whom everything can go completely wrong? But not with this recipe! It simplifies everything so much that it is actually easier to just buy a cake in the supermarket. At the same time, the taste of your “Napoleon” will be even better than ready-made desserts.
It all starts with the cream. You will need 1 liter of milk for it. Pour it into a saucepan or saucepan and place it on the stove. Add 300 g of sugar there and mix. In a separate bowl, combine 4 eggs and 60 g of flour. Using a whisk, mix them until smooth. After that, pour this mass into the milk in a thin stream. Be sure to constantly stir the cream in the process so that the ingredients combine well.

Continue to stir slowly after adding the eggs and flour until the cream begins to thicken. Finally, add 60 g of butter to the cream, mix until smooth and you can turn off the heat. Cover the cream with cling film and set aside to cool.
In the meantime, prepare the dough. You don't need to cook it yourself. Take 1 pack of ready-made puff pastry from the store, cut it into small cubes and put it in an oven preheated to 180°C. The dough should be baked until cooked. After that, each cube should be divided into thin pieces with your hands and mixed into the cream.

Pour the resulting mass into a mold and place in the refrigerator for 4 hours to soak. If desired, you can decorate the cake with coconut flakes, grated chocolate, or chopped nuts.
