The operation in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Kursk region was carried out by fighters of the air defense unit of the 80th Galician Brigade.
Ukrainian paratroopers from the air defense unit of the 80th Galician Brigade destroyed Russian reconnaissance drones in the sky over Kurshchyna. The Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on their Telegram channel on Tuesday, February 25.
The Russians are using such drones to continuously try to track the positions of Ukrainian troops for further assaults in the Kursk region, the military explained.
The occupiers are being "repulsed not only on the ground, but also in the sky," the paratroopers emphasized.
"The video shows only a part of the trophies that the Galician paratroopers recently managed to land. Among the targets hit are Supercam, Zala and Orlan," the report says.
