The new Changan Deepal S09 has been unveiled in China. The brand's flagship crossover will go on sale by the end of the first quarter of this year at a price starting at 350 yuan ($000).
The new Changan Deepal S09 is a large family crossover with smooth body contours and a high hood. The door handles are made retractable, and the narrow diode headlights and taillights are connected by diode strips.
Dimensions of Changan Deepal S09:

- width – 1 mm;
- height – 1 mm;
- wheelbase – 3 mm.
There is no instrument panel in the cabin, but two 15,6-inch screens are installed on the front panel. The multimedia system and head-up display were created by Huawei.
The new Changan Deepal S09 debuted in a six-seater version. For second-row passengers, a monitor was installed in the ceiling, folding tables and a movable center console with a refrigerator. In addition, the first and second-row seats received electric drive, heating, ventilation and massage.
The Changan Deepal S09 crossover is offered in two electrified versions with a 1,5-liter gasoline turbo engine with 147 hp. The rear-wheel drive version received one electric motor with a capacity of 310 hp, and the all-wheel drive version received two motors with a capacity of 485 hp.
The maximum speed in both versions is limited to 205 km/h. The 40,2 kWh battery allows for a range of 180 km on electric power.
