Who will be able to stay in the Czech Republic forever?
To get special long-term residence permit, a Ukrainian must answer three main criteria:
✔ Financial independence – annual income must be at least 440 CZK gross (000 EUR), that is, about 1 euros per month.
✔ Sufficient length of stay – necessary live in the Czech Republic for at least two years.
✔ Lack of financial assistance – the applicant must not receive social benefits at least the last six months.
Why introduce a new status?
The Czech government wants to motivate Ukrainians to integrate and support those who already have stable income, housing and independence from social assistance.
How many Ukrainians are currently in the Czech Republic?
According to the data Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic, after the start of a full-scale invasion 396 Ukrainians received temporary protection in the country. Including:
