Car owners will be stubbornly given a new fine: what drivers will have to pay for

New fines may appear in Ukraine for drivers who use excessively noisy cars.

According to draft law No. 9564, violators face fines of up to 34 hryvnias or even temporary deprivation of their driver's license.

The main reason for this decision is citizens' complaints about the loud noise created by individual motorists installing special equipment on their vehicles. Such cars significantly exceed permissible noise levels, disturbing city residents and provoking additional stress.

If the law is passed, fines will be imposed for exceeding engine noise standards. In the worst case, violators could lose their driver's license for a period of three to six months. However, in some situations, a repeat violation may be punished only with a fine, without additional sanctions.

Thus, if the law comes into force, Ukrainian drivers will have to monitor the noise level of their cars more carefully to avoid significant financial losses or even a temporary driving ban.
