Australian nutritionist Susie Burrell says: already in the morning you can take a few simple steps to reduce weight as much as possible.
Barrel stressed that those who want to lose weight must eat breakfast.
"Many people think that skipping breakfast is the key to losing weight, but it is a hearty meal eaten in the morning that keeps us full and allows us not to be tempted by snacks during the day," the nutritionist noted.
Start your day with good quality carbs. While many people believe that carbohydrates can ruin their figure, Burrell states that carbohydrates play an important role in starting the day.
"If you do not specifically follow a low-carb or keto diet, add whole grain low-calorie carbohydrates to your breakfast - this is the best way to replenish your body after a night's fasting and provide your brain and muscles with energy," the expert advised.
Eat protein. According to the nutritionist, protein at the beginning of the day is an excellent way to maintain health and a slim waist.
“Include 20 grams of good quality protein in your breakfast. A couple of eggs, Greek yogurt, salmon are all simple ways to increase the protein content of your breakfast," the nutritionist shared.
Add some fruits and vegetables to your breakfast. Burrell says people don't eat enough fruits and vegetables, and adding these foods to breakfast could be one way to change that.
"A sliced tomato on toast, a grated vegetable added to egg dishes, or a vegetable mixed with porridge or a smoothie will additionally enrich you with fiber and vitamins," the expert suggested.
Eat good fats. Those fats, which come from a variety of foods, including olive oil, avocados, nuts, seeds and peanut butter, provide the body with key nutrients and are guaranteed to keep you feeling full longer, Barell added.
