The Germans promise to supply Ukraine with the latest RCT30 Boxer armored vehicles. The head of the KNDS Germany group made the corresponding statement at the ceremony of presenting the first sample of the latest RCH 155 self-propelled guns to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Ralf Ketzel, the key advantage of the RCT30 Boxer is its versatility. These armored vehicles can be used as wheeled infantry fighting vehicles, drone fighters, ambulances and command and staff vehicles.
The maximum capacity of the landing compartment is 6 people. The armored vehicle is equipped with a remotely controlled RCT30 module with a 30 mm MK30-2/ABM cannon, capable of hitting low-flying ground and air targets.
The German and Dutch defense ministries plan to purchase 150 and 72 RCT30 units, respectively. Ukraine is preparing to receive an unspecified number of such vehicles to combat UAVs.
