Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain Valery Zaluzhnyi emphasized that 2024 was a year of difficult trials for Ukrainians.

"Although the year 2024 passed quickly, it was a difficult test for all of us. A year where it seemed that grief, despair and disappointment would never leave us," Valery Zaluzhnyi wrote.

At the same time, according to him, the past year was also a year of hope.

"Just this year, we had to understand that our fate is only in our own hands," the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces emphasized.

He also listed what Ukrainians "must take with them" in 2025.

"All we need next year is purpose, unity, wisdom and a thirst for victory. We should not be ashamed, although it will still be difficult!" said the diplomat.
