To begin with, wet the gauze with water and wrap it around the plant stems. It is allowed to completely wrap greens in cheesecloth. For a greater effect, you can wrap the resulting roll in foil on top.
In this form, the stems and leaves of any herbs will remain juicy and strong for a long time.
If you have a lot of greens, you can make a preparation that is stored in the refrigerator for a whole month.
To do this, wash the greens well and shake off the remaining moisture. After that, remove the stems if necessary and finely chop the edible part.
Add plenty of salt (100 g of salt per 20 g of greens) and put in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Such dressing can be added to any dishes - soups, sauces or salads.
