Not everyone is ready to wait around the clock for the result. You can prepare a lightly salted version to enjoy the dish a couple of hours after cooking.

What ingredients are needed

  • half a kilo of fish;
  • 1 medium-sized onion;
  • a large spoonful of salt and a small spoonful of sugar;
  • two pieces of cloves, bay pepper and a little pepper to taste.

How to cook

The fish should first be thawed, washed, cleaned and chopped into small portions. Salt, sugar and pepper are combined into a single mass.

Chop the onion into rings.

Then you need to choose a jar or container for salting.

We put a mixture of salt and pepper, put fish, put onions and salt again. We continue like this until we run out of fish. Leave a clove with a bay leaf on top.

The fish should stand for 60 minutes in the refrigerator. After that, it should be shaken and turned over. As soon as another hour has passed, the fish can be served to the table.
