A kitchen hood is a place that collects all the dirt, fumes, aromas and, of course, grease. It is sometimes very difficult to wash the latter. Especially if the cleaning interval is more than 3 months.

The method proven by years and experience is hot water, baking soda and citric acid. For one plate you need to take 1 tbsp. soda and 1,5 tbsp. citric acid.
Mix the dry ingredients, add a little water (1-2 tablespoons), apply the mass to the surface of the hood and leave for 7-10 minutes. After that, you need to pour hot water for 3-5 minutes, after waiting, rinse and effortlessly wipe off the old fat.
This method also works with homemade pasta with soot in the oven and fat in the microwave. The tool is budget, but effective.
