As you know, a number of methods can be used to propagate ficuses.

But cuttings are the easiest option, with the help of which you can get many new flowers.

It should be noted that this method is most suitable for leafy varieties of ficus, including Benjamin's ficus or rubber-bearing ficus.

Please note - cuttings should be used if the plant has already reached the age of two years.

So, to begin with, choose a healthy petiole - it can be located both at the top of the tree and on the stem, separate it with a sharp tool, making a cut at an angle.

The section of the cut should be sprinkled with black or white activated carbon (it doesn't matter) or smeared with garden boil.

Place the cuttings in a container filled with water. The container with cuttings should be placed in a warm place with a temperature of approximately +24 degrees - it will have to stay here for about 3 weeks, periodically adding water (there is no need to change the water).

After 3 weeks, immediately transplant the plant into a pot. If the room is cool for better rooting, make a mini-greenhouse by covering the top of the pot with a plastic transparent bag.
