Chicken cutlets are the perfect solution for those who prefer tasty and healthy white meat. This dish is quite simple and unpretentious in execution.
What products are needed:
- minced chicken;
- cutlets
- yesterday's white bread;
- onion;
- olive oil (can be replaced with regular vegetable oil if desired);
- flour;
- a couple of chicken eggs;
- milk;
- salt and pepper to your liking.
The cooking process
The amount of ingredients varies depending on how many cutlets you decide to make.
It's better to make the minced meat yourself, as the minced meat for meatballs in the store is not always of good quality. In addition, it is often sold already with seasonings and salt.
So take 2-3 chicken fillets and put them through a meat grinder.
Remove the crusts from yesterday's bread (2-3 pieces are enough) and soak in milk. Then chop and add to the minced chicken.
Finely chop the onion, fry it in olive oil until golden brown and add it to the bread with the chicken. Then break the egg, add salt, spices (if desired) and start mixing well.
After that, you can start shaping the cutlets. Instead of breadcrumbs, use regular flour – just a little.
Heat a frying pan, pour in the olive oil. As soon as the oil starts to make characteristic sounds, you can put the cutlets in and reduce the heat.
As soon as the cutlets have an appetizing and crispy crust, they are ready.
