
Sweet, crunchy popcorn with homemade caramel will be the perfect addition to watching a movie or simply as a dessert with tea. You just need to buy a pack of classic popcorn and make sweet caramel.

For cooking, take:
1 pack of popcorn (preferably unflavored)
150 g of sugar
50 g of water
50 g butter
1/4 teaspoon of salt - if desired, if popcorn is salted - it is not necessary
1/3 teaspoon of soda

Microwave the popcorn as directed on the package, sift to remove any unpopped kernels, and transfer the popcorn to a deep bowl.
Prepare the caramel. To do this, mix sugar with water and bring to a golden color on medium heat, watch carefully so that it does not burn. Reduce the heat to low.
Add the room temperature butter and stir quickly, the mixture will boil, so be careful. As soon as the caramel stops foaming, add soda. And immediately remove from the heat, quickly mix and pour it over the popcorn, mix so that all the popcorn is covered in caramel.
Spread the popcorn on the parchment paper until it cools completely. Break into pieces and enjoy, it's really delicious.
