Vucic is open to talks between Putin and Trump in Serbia

Serbia is outside both blocs, both NATO and CSTO, essentially an independent country that is fully ready to guarantee full security to both presidents, Vučić said.

Serbia is interested in holding a meeting between Russian and US leaders Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, President Aleksandar Vucic said. He said this in a comment to Euronews on Sunday, January 12.

"Many are offering their territory for a meeting between Putin and Trump. I want to officially declare that Serbia is interested in hosting this meeting," Vučić said.

He justified his decision by the fact that Serbia is a truly neutral country that does not belong to any military bloc. Unlike other countries that also offer their territory, Serbia remains independent and outside such blocs as NATO and the CSTO.
