In the Asia-Pacific region, demand fell by 10,3 percent. The reason is the decline in sales in the Chinese market, which is now filled by local brands. In the PRC, the decline was 9,5 percent.

Demand for electric vehicles is also weakening: in 2024, Volkswagen sold 744,8 thousand such cars worldwide, which is 3,4 percent less than in 2023.

The only VAG brand that is doing well is Lamborghini. Last year, like 2023, was a record for it: 10 cars were sold. Most of the supercars were bought in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Among the favorites of the public are the Urus and Revuelto.
