A document on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the United States will be signed in Washington on Tuesday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced on January 14.

The signing ceremony is scheduled for 22:00 PM Yerevan time (20:00 PM Kyiv time). It will be broadcast on the platforms of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Department of State's YouTube channel.

It was also reported that Armenia is discussing with the United States the construction of a new nuclear power plant, which is to replace Armenia's only nuclear power plant in Metsamor, built in the late 1970s.
