Hyundai has launched the Creta electric crossover in India. The Hyundai Creta Electric is a centimeter longer and three centimeters taller than the petrol version, and there is also a 22-liter niche under the hood for the charging cable.
Inside, the electric car stands out with a steering wheel from the Kona, a new center console, a different driving mode control interface, and dashboard graphics.

In the two initial trim levels, the crossover has a 135-horsepower electric motor and a 42 kWh battery, so the range is 390 kilometers according to the Indian ARAI cycle. For an additional fee, the Hyundai Creta Long Range is available with a 171-horsepower engine and a 51,4 kWh battery: this option will travel 473 kilometers without recharging. Among the options are ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, an electric passenger seat, lane control systems and blind spot monitoring.

Prices for Hyundai's electric crossover start at $20. A more expensive, long-range version will cost around $700.
