In Ukraine, sales of cars from China increased significantly in 2024. 14,4 thousand of them were imported, which is 18% more than in 2023. This was reported by the Ukravtoprom association.
11 new cars were imported from China, which is 37% more than a year earlier. Their market share was 16%.
3,3 thousand used cars were imported, meaning that demand for them fell by 20% over the past year. They occupy 1,5% of the market.
The vast majority of cars from China in Ukraine (82%) are electric cars. The leader in both the new and used segments is the Volkswagen ID.4 electric crossover.
