A massive disruption in the work of telecommunications operators, banks and Internet services is taking place in Russia on Monday, January 6. Russians complain about disruptions in the work of MTS, Beeline, Alfa-Bank, Google, Rutube and other services. This is reported by the publication Astra on your Telegram channel.

The website zboy.rf received more than 32 complaints about the work of MTS and more than 30 — at MGTS.

Roskomnadzor (RKN) claims that the cause of the mass failure of services in the Russian Federation was an accident on the trunk network of one of the communication operators.

"The cause of the massive service failure was an accident on the trunk network of one of the communication operators," the press service reported.

RKN also announced later about the "removal of the accident", which led to a massive failure in the work of Internet services.

"As of 14:00 p.m., the accident has been resolved, services are being restored," the message reads.
