Roskomnadzor (RKN) claims that the cause of the mass failure of services in the Russian Federation was an accident on the trunk network of one of the communication operators.
"The cause of the massive service failure was an accident on the trunk network of one of the communication operators," the press service reported.
RKN also announced later about the "removal of the accident", which led to a massive failure in the work of Internet services.
"As of 14:00 p.m., the accident has been resolved, services are being restored," the message reads.
