It will save any holiday leftovers - from a piece of sausage to the last cheese and thus become a symbol of a caring approach to food.
Ingredients for the pizza base
- Flour - 200 g
- Dry fast-acting yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar - 0,5 teaspoon
- Warm water - 120 ml
- Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
Preparation of dough
First, mix the sifted flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a convenient-sized vessel. Pour in warm water and olive oil, then knead until you get a soft and elastic dough. Next, cover the dish with the dough with a towel and leave it for 30-40 minutes in a warm place so that it rises.
After the time is up, you can start shaping the pizza. For a thin pizza, roll out the dough as thin as possible so that it bakes quickly and becomes crispy. If you like a lush base, then, firstly, increase the proportions of all ingredients by 1,5-2 times, and, secondly, do not roll out the dough too thin.
What to do with leftovers?
Now the most interesting thing is the fillings! In pizza, you can use everything left over after the holidays: cut sausage, ham, meat into thin slices. Grate or slice the cheese, even if it's a slightly dried out piece from the fridge. As for vegetables, add whatever you can find: from baked eggplant to raw tomatoes. And the sauce can be ketchup, tomato paste or even sour cream. This is how your fridge will finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Now about baking. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease the mold with olive oil and lay out the base. Spread the sauce evenly, add leftovers that have turned into a delicious filling, and sprinkle with cheese.

And now, attention! Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes for a thin base and 20-25 minutes for a thick one.
