Ukraine, Britain and Lithuania will launch a joint system to combat the illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the TOT

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, within the framework of the Berlin Conference of Ministers of Agriculture, together with his British and Lithuanian colleagues, signed an updated Memorandum on the launch of a unique Grain Verification Scheme (GVS) system to combat the illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories.

"The memorandum on the launch of a unique GVS system to combat the illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories is the first step at the ministerial level within the framework of the implementation of the strategic agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, which will become the basis of our cooperation for the next hundred years. The pilot implementation of this initiative will take place in Lithuania - in the port of Klaipeda, which will become a key hub for verifying the origin of Ukrainian agricultural products," Vitaliy Koval emphasized.
