The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has not appeared in public for almost three weeks and has not shown any activity on social networks. This may indicate health problems, which are traditionally denied in Grozny. Kadyrov was last seen on January 8, and his current condition is unknown, reports the Russian publication "Agency".
According to the publication's calculations, Kadyrov did not appear at public events for at least 18 consecutive days in January. The Agency found this out by monitoring posts on his blog and on the website of the state agency Chechen-Inform, which closely covers the activities of the head of the republic.
The last reports of events involving Kadyrov were published on January 8. At that time, he reported that he had taken part in the opening ceremony of the memorial to Father Akhmat Kadyrov and inspected the central part of Grozny. On the same day, he took part in a meeting with unit commanders and heads of regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - and disappeared.
The next report about Kadyrov's public activity appeared on January 26. The head of Chechnya posted a video with a report on how he attended a rehearsal of the folklore ensemble "Nokhcho." However, the "Agency" writes that these shots may be "canned" - pre-recorded videos that are published when it is necessary to hide the long absence of an official.
First, the head of the republic and the head of the ensemble Amina Akhmadova (she is also considered Kadyrov's third wife) is sitting in an empty auditorium. In addition, Kadyrov's clothing is suspicious: in the video he is wearing a sweatshirt and vest - not for the weather (on January 26 in Grozny it was up to 4 degrees). For example, on January 6, when it was no more than 3 degrees in Grozny, the head of Chechnya wore a jacket, and he put on a vest with a sweatshirt on January 8, when the temperature rose to 7. In a similar vest, as on January 26, he appeared in the video on January 6, 2024: then in Grozny it was up to 10 degrees.
