A Flixbus bus overturned on the A11 motorway near the German-Polish border, killing two people — a Ukrainian citizen and a German citizen, BFMTV reports.
It is noted that the accident occurred this weekend. In addition to the two dead, four people were injured, including a woman from Poland. Doctors are currently fighting for the woman's life.
According to police, the bus driver was supposed to pull off the A11 to wait out the blizzard. However, the bus veered off the road and crashed into a fence separating the parking lot from the road. The bus then overturned onto its right side.
There were 12 passengers and the driver on the bus.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
