An unusual incident occurred in the province of Utrecht, the Netherlands: a skydiver accidentally landed in an enclosure with bonobos at the Ouwehands Zoo, located in the city of Rhenen.

As of edition Dutch Times, the man was supposed to land on a football field where the grand opening of a new artificial turf was taking place. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, he deviated from his course and ended up in a monkey habitat.
Zoo director Robert de Lange said the situation could have been much worse. He said the skydiver was lucky, as he could have ended up in an enclosure with dangerous animals such as elephants or lions.
The zoo administration is already planning to hold a meeting with the football club to avoid a recurrence of similar incidents.
"We were extremely scared. Something like this should not happen in the future," the head of the institution added.
