It's been loud in Kazan since night, with explosions and sirens. Rospublikas write that the Kazan Aviation Plant named after S. P. Gorbunov, a branch of PJSC Tupolev, was attacked.

This is one of the largest enterprises of the aviation industry of the Russian Federation, founded in 1932 in the city of Kazan, produces strategic bombers Tu-160, as well as civilian airliners Tu-204. It is located in the eastern part of the Aviation Building District of Kazan, and has the Borisoglebsk factory airfield located nearby, also within the city limits.
In December 2023, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the plant came under sanctions from the European Union countries because it "produces and repairs Tu-160 strategic missile carriers and Tu-22M3M/Tu-22M3 long-range bombers used by the Russian Air Force during the aggressive war against Ukraine."
