Icelandic company Arctic Trucks, known for its tuning of SUVs and pickups, has introduced a new kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250. This tuning, called AT37, aims to prepare the car for extreme off-road conditions.
What else is known
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado modified by Arctic Trucks looks restrained, but gives a feeling of strength. The package includes new massive bumpers, fender flares, aluminum running boards, a hidden towbar, mudguards and forged 17-inch wheels with a matte black finish. The car is equipped with 37-inch BFGoodrich tires, which improve cross-country ability and give the car an aggressive look.
The wide-body kit consists of ten elements, and the ground clearance has been increased by 40 mm. The suspension has been upgraded with new springs, coilovers and shock absorbers. In addition, the track has been widened and the wheelbase has been lengthened to integrate larger wheels, although the company did not disclose the details of the changes.
The interior has also been updated with a special gear selector, branded door sill plates, new floor mats and leather-trimmed seats. However, the powertrain remains unchanged.
The Toyota Land Cruiser AT37 is expected to be available for order from the second quarter of this year in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East. Pricing for the model will be announced at a later date.
