Rocket F Elon Musk's space company launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on January 14. The flight took place as part of the program SpaceX SmallSat Rideshare from the mass launch of small satellites.
Soon, the first stage successfully returned to the launch pad, and the second stage launched the payload (131 new satellites) into sun-synchronous orbit.
The payload included dozens of microsatellites and cubesats, including Earth-imaging devices from Indian startup Pixxel and the UAE government, as well as the returning Varda Space, and even a “selfie satellite.”
