The process will begin this year, when the battery hatchback of its Alpine sub-brand will hit the roads in the summer, and by the end of the year the revived electric Renault 4 will arrive. In 2026, the turn of the "battery" Twingo will come, and then some kind of crossover running on electric traction will appear.

According to the Spanish portal Motor.es, which posted the first unofficial renderings of this car, we are talking about an SUV that Renault sees as an alternative to the Austral model.
The length of the new product could be about 4,4 meters. The car should get an elegant, sporty profile with a sloping roof and become one of the main competitors of the American Tesla.
The car, according to rumors, will stand out not only with its advanced interior and exterior design, but will also receive a number of premium options, although which ones have not yet been specified.
The machine will be based on the second generation AMPR Medium platform, which will be used for the future Apline A390.
Renault's new electric crossover is expected to have a range of at least 700 kilometers on a single charge. It will be powered by new electric motors from the French company Valeo, and will be available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
According to insiders, the presentation of the car is scheduled for 2028.
