The new US President Donald Trump is determined to end the war in Ukraine. He made this statement in CBS interview with Michael Walz, who will take over as National Security Advisor.
Volz noted that he would not like to reveal Trump's plans, but named three key points for ending the war in Ukraine. “First, who are we going to bring to the negotiating table? Second, how are we going to get them to the table? And third, what will be the scope of the agreement?” he said.
“President Trump has made it clear that this war must end,” said Walz.
Volz also noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to cooperate with Trump on ending the war.
The advisor warned that the war in Ukraine is a “meat grinder” and could provoke a third world war."This war must end, and President Trump has made that very clear and is determined to do so," said Walz.
