If you want your washing machine to last longer, it is important not only to use it correctly, but also to ensure proper care. Following simple rules will help avoid breakdowns and significantly extend the life of the equipment, saving you money and nerves.
First of all, pay attention to the correct dosage of detergent. Many people mistakenly believe that the more detergent, the cleaner the clothes. In fact, excess powder can accumulate in the drum or hoses, which over time leads to the formation of plaque and serious damage. Always measure the amount of detergent, and do not add it “by eye”.

Another important point is to clean the machine from scale. Use citric acid or special means for removing limescale, which can be found in stores. Do this about once every three months. Also, do not forget to clean the filter - this is where the debris that could have remained in the pockets collects. Cleaning the filter is a matter of a few minutes, which will significantly extend the “life” of your machine.
Do not overload the drum with too many clothes, as this can disrupt the overall operation of the machine. If you need to wash a lot of things, it is better to run the wash cycle several times. This way, the clothes will be cleaner, and the machine will not “suffer”. If you decide to wash a blanket or bedspread, make sure that it fits properly in the drum. If not, it is better to wash such things by hand.

And, of course, do not forget about basic prevention. After each wash, always leave the door open so that moisture does not accumulate inside and an unpleasant musty smell does not form. Regularly wipe the rubber band in the drum, which also usually collects dirt and water residues. Wipe its “pocket” dry to prevent mold. We wish you success!
