Ukrainians who left Ukraine will not be forced to return from abroad by force - it should be an independent decision of everyone. And the government's mission is to help such people so that their return is as easy as possible. For this, they will be helped to get a job.
Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov said about this on the air of the national telethon "Edyny Novyny". He noted that special institutions will operate abroad for this mission.
"According to our estimates, there are 20-25 million Ukrainians abroad. In Ukraine, there are approximately 32 million. This is a large, powerful nation, which today is forced to stay partly abroad, and we are starting the process of returning Ukrainians home. I would like to point out right away that the return is purely voluntary. No coercive measures will be taken. And we will be happy for the success of Ukrainians abroad, if they find a place for themselves and their families," Chernyshov emphasized.
In order to return Ukrainians to the key countries of their residence, "hubs of unity" - departments of the National Unity Agency - will be created. In particular, they will appear in Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic and other countries.
The purpose of such hubs is to help with various services related to consular, passport and registration issues. They will also provide Ukrainians abroad with access to the Motherland and, in particular, the Ukrainian labor market.
