From January 1, 2025, the minimum wage in Poland is PLN 4 (over UAH 666 thousand at the NBU exchange rate). For foreigners who want to obtain a residence card based on employment, this income is a mandatory minimum. If the earnings are less than this amount, the document may be refused.

Foreigners, including Ukrainians, must confirm that their income meets the new requirements. This applies to those who applied for a residence card in 2024 but received less than PLN 4. For those who already had a higher salary, no additional action is required.
