The dog went to the police station to report it missing

An unexpected visitor walked through the doors of the Odessa Police Department in Texas and stood before the uniformed officers. It was a friendly dog ​​who seemed eager to tell the staff something interesting.

The dog stood with a giant grin, letting the officers know that he had escaped from the house.

Sergeant Rosty Martin was one of the officers who received the “signal.” He noted that the dog did not appear very concerned.

"We were all excited that he came to us," Martin said. "We had a tennis ball, and we gave it to his dog for a while."

While the police enjoyed the dog's company, officers struggled to find its owners. The dog was wearing a collar, but its identification tag was missing, so they had to call in a microchip inspection team.

However, the dog decided that he had waited long enough and left without waiting for the experts.
