Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban stated that the European Union should review sanctions against Russia.
He voiced his position on state radio, noting that a change in the US administration could change the approach to international politics, Telex reports.
“The European Union should lift sanctions against Russia, as Donald Trump’s administration is ready to usher in a new era next week,” Orban said.
In his opinion, this still takes time, but in Brussels "sobriety will come", now they are in the phase of "overcoming this".
Viktor Orban said that everything will change after Donald Trump comes to power.
“From Tuesday, a new era will dawn in the Western world,” he said.
According to him, four years ago the presidency was allegedly stolen from Trump.
In addition, he added that if Trump had remained president in 2020, there would have been no Ukrainian-Russian war.
