The opposition has submitted a motion of no confidence in Fico to parliament.

Opposition parties in Slovakia have initiated a vote of no confidence in the government of Robert Fico. The proposal has already been submitted to parliament. Aktuality reports this on Wednesday, January 15.
On January 15, representatives of opposition parties submitted signatures to the office of the National Council of Slovakia for convening an extraordinary session of parliament, at which they would like to express no confidence in the Fico government.
The vote of no confidence is initiated by opposition deputies from the Progressive Slovakia, Freedom and Solidarity, Christian Democrats, Slovakia, For the People, and Christian Union parties.
The opposition said that Prime Minister Fico is not coping with the tasks facing the government and that he is trying to question the country's political course.
"Robert Fico left Slovakia. Instead of being at home and solving problems that concern people, he travels the world, bows to dictators, enjoys luxury somewhere in Vietnam. He insults our neighbors and partners... We will not allow Fico to turn Slovakia eastward," said Michal Šimečka, leader of Progressive Slovakia.
The opposition also criticized the coalition parties for not coming to the extraordinary session of parliament to confirm Slovakia's foreign policy orientation. Without them, the opposition did not have enough votes to open the session.
Fico said he had "agreed on gas" with Putin
