Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office denied that Hamas had agreed to a Qatari-brokered ceasefire proposal in Gaza. Israeli media reported that, once Hamas agrees, the deal will be officially announced on January 16 and will come into effect on January 19 with the release of the first hostages, Reuters reported.
