Nutritionist's advice.
One small piece of lard in the morning can trigger important processes in the liver, Ukr.Media reports.
Why is lard good for the morning?
Eating lard for breakfast helps to activate the gallbladder and liver. Fat acts as a natural choleretic, removes toxins, cholesterol and purifies the blood. Even a small piece the size of a matchbox works for up to two hours.
How to eat properly?
Eat lard with whole grain bread and, if desired, garlic. This morning snack helps the liver work more efficiently throughout the day. The main thing is not to overdo it and not fry in lard: heating makes the fat much more harmful.
When is it better not to eat lard?
If you have gallstones, pancreatitis, or gastrointestinal problems, lard may be harmful. Consult your doctor before using.
