"Unfortunately, due to the war, these challenges are increasing, but thanks to you, this response will be faster and more professional," Klymenko noted.
According to Jaeger, it is an honor for him to be in Ukraine and personally deliver the assistance that will be sent to the Security and Defense Forces of the National Guard and the National Police of Ukraine.
“Ukraine continues its heroic fight against Russian aggression — and each of you plays an important role in this process. Without the daily work of the National Guard and the National Police, security in Ukraine cannot be guaranteed. For me as an ambassador and for the entire German government, cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is an important aspect of our partnership, and the transferred cars are just part of the support of the ministry. Our fruitful cooperation will continue,” said Jaeger.
In total, throughout 2024, in addition to 100 vehicles, the public order protection units of the National Police and the National Guard received computer equipment and protective equipment from the German Government.
