The military highly appreciated the development of Zaporizhzhia designers

In Zaporizhia there is a volunteer organization “Drone.ZP”, which develops unique ground-based drones for the military. The developers work directly with the military and manufacture drones specifically for their needs. All prototypes are built with donations from caring citizens.

The other day, fighters of the unmanned systems battalion of the 15th Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard named after Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant Bohdan Zavada took part in testing a ground-based robotic fire control complex. This was reported on the brigade's Facebook page.

It is noted that this complex is designed to combat enemy UAVs. It was provided to the guards for testing by the Zaporizhzhia volunteer organization of developers of remotely controlled systems "Dron.ZP".

The turret is equipped with a 12,7 mm Utyos machine gun and allows fighters to effectively destroy enemy drones while in cover. A night vision device is installed for tasks in the dark. And neural network elements are used to control the complex.

The turret is not autonomous and cannot move on its own; it is placed on a car trailer. It must be delivered to the positions by road.

The operator controls the process. He can aim at the target and fire using a joystick with a display.

“The test was successful. And soon, after the necessary improvements, such complexes can take their place in the defense lines of Ukrainian defenders,” the brigade noted.
