In the last month of autumn, we indulged ourselves with seasonal vegetables - bell peppers and tomatoes. In winter, home-grown fresh vegetables are not available in such abundance, but they are available on supermarket counters or in housewives' freezers. While in the cold season we miss the abundance that reigned on our tables, we suggest you prepare a delicious hot dish.
What products to prepare:
- 700 g of minced meat (pork, beef or combined);
- 1 large onion;
- 2 bell peppers;
- 4 tomatoes;
- half a liter of tomato paste;
- a can of canned beans;
- 4 cloves of garlic;
- salt and spices at your discretion.
How to cook:
Fry the minced meat on a heated pan. When it is 80 percent ready, you can add finely chopped onions and cook for 7 minutes on low heat with the lid closed.
Meanwhile, chop tomatoes and peppers. You can cut into any shape. We send the vegetables to the minced meat, mix and stew again for 5-7 minutes.
Pour in the tomato paste, distributing it moderately. At this stage, you can take a sample for salt. If you cook with spices, now is the time to add them.
Simmer under the lid for about 5 minutes.
At the end, add beans and finely chopped garlic, cook for another 5 minutes.
A luxurious hot dish is ready.
