An accident has shocked the motoring world in the UK. A legendary 40 Ferrari F1991 supercar crashed on a motorway near Luton. This model, the last one created under the leadership of Enzo Ferrari himself, is a real rarity and a collector's dream.
The rare car was being driven by a mechanic from a service station where the supercar was being serviced. It is believed that during a test drive, the driver lost control of the powerful 478-horsepower coupe, which can reach speeds of up to 324 km/h. The car skidded, went off the road, hit a pole and overturned.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. However, the Ferrari F40 itself suffered catastrophic damage. Photos from the scene of the accident, published on the supercar.fails page on Instagram, show the complete absence of the front of the body, damage to the rear bumper and suspension.
Considering that the F40's body is made of carbon fiber, repairs will cost the owner a tidy sum. Especially since the average price of such a supercar on the market reaches $2,5 million.

This Ferrari F40 was not a museum piece, but was actively used. The owner even participated in a 4800 km road race. But, unfortunately, this time the trip ended tragically for the legendary car.
The accident was a stark reminder that even experienced drivers can lose control of a powerful car, especially when it comes to a hot car like the Ferrari F40, which requires maximum concentration and skill.
