This was reported on Monday by the NYT, citing two sources familiar with the plans of the new administration, Ukrinform reports.
“Elon Musk is expected to use office space in the White House complex when the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, which aims to cut government spending in the Trump administration, takes office,” the publication notes.
The new department will be housed in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, adjacent to the White House.
“This location will allow Musk, who owns companies with billions in federal government contracts, to continue to have direct access to President-elect Donald Trump,” the newspaper writes.
At the same time, it remains unclear whether Musk's partner, Vivek Ramaswamy, will also have office space in the Eisenhower Building.
