Lithuania has transferred a new batch of military aid to Ukraine, including thousands of drones.
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reported this on the social network X. It is noted that trucks with equipment have already arrived in Ukraine.
"Continuing to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, we have delivered thousands of drones from Lithuanian manufacturers, as well as thermal imagers and five-ton telescopic loaders," the report says.
Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Šakaliene stressed that the country has also removed bureaucratic barriers. Now military aid will arrive in Ukraine faster:
“We cannot slow down the pace of support for Ukraine, because ensuring Ukraine’s security means ensuring our own security. We have as much time as Ukraine does.”
