I suggest you, girls, diversify your menu with delicious dumplings with meat! They taste great with fried onions, cracklings, sour cream and dill, and especially with mushroom gravy! And dumplings are very easy to prepare!
Ingredients:
Potato dough:
- 1 kg. potatoes (weight boiled in their skins and peeled)
- 1/4 part starch (potato)
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
Toppings:
- 4-5 pieces of boiled chicken thighs
- 1 large onion
- oil for frying
- salt and pepper to taste

I add the fried onion to the boiled meat and run it all through a meat grinder. I add salt and pepper to taste and mix.
Potato dough:
I grate the boiled potatoes, put them on a plate, put 1/4 of the potatoes in another bowl and add the starch. I add the eggs and salt, and knead the dough with my hands.
I roll the dough into a sausage, cut it into pieces. I make flat cakes and spread the filling. I form oval-shaped dumplings.
I bring salted water to a boil and add the dumplings, cooking until they float to the top.
Serve with sour cream, delicious!
