Israel has accused Hamas of violating yesterday's peace agreements. Hamas denies this.
"Hamas is violating the agreements and creating a last-minute crisis that prevents an agreement from being reached," Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a statement, The Times of Israel reports.
Because of this, the Israeli Cabinet "will not meet until the mediators inform Israel that Hamas has accepted all elements of the agreement."
At the same time, a senior Hamas official denies these allegations and says that the group is committed to the agreement announced yesterday.
At the same time, Israeli media outlets are reporting that the real reason for the delay in the meeting of the military-political cabinet and the government regarding the agreement is that Netanyahu's office is waiting for final confirmation from Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich that he will not leave the government after the agreement is signed. His faction is currently discussing this issue.
At the same time, Reuters writes that Israel intensified strikes on the Gaza Strip within hours of the agreement.
Israeli airstrikes continued throughout the night and into the morning on Thursday, killing at least 46 Palestinians, according to local authorities.
