Before their release, law enforcement officers checked the prisoners, and they underwent a medical examination.

78 of them are residents of the West Bank, and were released at the checkpoint in the settlement of Beituniya. The rest are residents of East Jerusalem.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office earlier confirmed the release of three Israeli women who had been held captive in Gaza for 470 days.
