As Ukrinform reports, this was reported by the Times of Israel, citing a corresponding statement from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu's office confirmed that the government had approved the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and the release of hostages.
According to Israeli media reports, 24 ministers voted "for" while 8 voted "against."
The statement said the deal would take effect on Sunday, when the first three Israeli hostages are to be released. The first 42-day phase of the deal is to see the release of 33 hostages.
Meanwhile, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari announced on social media that the ceasefire in Gaza will come into effect at 08:30 local time on Sunday.
"As agreed by the parties to the agreement and the mediators, the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will begin at 08:30 local time on Sunday, January 19," al-Ansari wrote, advising local residents to be cautious and await instructions from official sources.
